Four Seasons Suite 2916

Shanghai is a city that is transforming itself. High rises offices are being erected everywhere, replacing neighborhood after neighborhood of “old Shanghai.” New, trendy restaurants are opening all along Shanghai’s famed Bund, and boutique shopping malls carrying fashionable brand names are catering to China’s new rich.
     In the midst of all this is the Four Seasons, a truly “five star” hotel with an excellent staff and elegant environment. We particularly liked the suite pictured here, which has a beautiful a large living room with a wall of windows and expansive views of the surrounding landscape. The bedroom is also spacious and comfortable. The suite comes with executive club privileges, including buffet breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. One note of caution: since construction is continuing throughout the city one cannot count on the views on even high floors remaining unobstructed, as those in Suite 2916 when we were there.
