The Ritz Hotel, located in the heart
of Madrid's museum district, is an elegant, “old world” hotel
in which guests are made to feel welcome from the moment they arrive.
We came here for Christmas and were treated to generous gifts,
flowers, champagne, fruits, candies and even a Christmas tree in
our room, and virtually non-stop music in the lobby. Our living
room, Suite 406, shown in the top picture above,(which is located in the bay
of the hotel, that is highlighted in red in the lower picture)
was large, beautifully decorated and very comfortable and afforded
views of the city from both sides.
