Room 14
Les Crayeres was built in 1902 for the daughter of the House of Pommery, the famous
champagne makers whose headquarters amid caves containing maturing bottles of
champagne still magnificently preside over the park across the street. Beautifully maintained
and decorated, Les Crayeres today is an elegant, old world hotel that offers an oasis of peace
and serenity in the midst of the bustling city of Reims, whose magnificent Gothic cathedral
was the coronation site for French kings from the time of Clovis to that of Louis XVI. And, as
an added attraction, Les Crayeres is justly famed for its gastronomic cuisine elegantly served
on the terrace overlooking the hotel’s grounds.
We recommend room 14, also known as the Princess Diana, an elegant, large and light
infused corner room with a lovely view of the grounds.
