The Cavas Wine Lodge offers the vacation traveler a most relaxing and romantic experience in Argentina’s major winegrowing district, the province of Mendoza. It has fourteen Adobe style villas set in the middle of a working vineyard, where you can stroll among the ripening clusters of grapes or lie on your private veranda in the hot afternoon sun after taking a cool dip in your own plunge pool. The hotel also offers excellent food and spa. As an extra, guests can climb the steps of their villas in the evening to their roofs to take in the panorama of the Andes mountains in the distance or build a fire in the rooftop fireplaces and watch the stars overhead in the clear night sky or even sleep there under the stars.

All accommodations in the Lodge are similar, but for the most private experience we recommend Room 9, pictured here, at the far corner of the property, where you won’t even notice your neighbor.
