This elegant townhouse offers a pleasant retreat from the busyness of the city.  Its rooms are well cared for, spacious and quiet, particularly Room 2, which has two large bay windows with views through the foliage of the street below.  Our only regret was that the restaurant at the hotel that had been run by Gordon Ramsey--the famous London chef-- had just closed and it is unlikely that the food now served in the hotel’s dining room will be of comparable quality.
