Lady Grafton Room
Stapleford Park seems to arise, like
the country houses of a Jane Austen novel, out of pure imagination.
The beautifully restored manor house is set in grounds designed
originally by Capability Brown, England’s greatest landscape
architect (famed for Blenheim Palace’s park); its herb and
flower gardens cannot possibly be improved upon; and its 18 hole
golf course is as playable as it is picturesque. The room we recommend
is the Lady Grafton stateroom with the pastoral view shown here.
