The Ritz Carlton- South Beach, with its premium oceanfront location at the foot of Lincoln Road in the historic Art Deco section of Miami Beach, is an ideal place for a romantic winter getaway. Its amenities,
including its Four Star Spa, beachfront dining, and reserved seating on the beach, are impressive, as are its memorable Sunday afternoon buffets (which are among the best we have ever had anywhere).
Another virtue of this hotel is its immediate access to the wonderful walkway which extends along the ocean beaches, on which one can stroll or jog for miles.

The hotel has several “Lanai” suites, all just off the beach. We recommend the corner suites on the two higher floors, one of which (Room 396) — where we stayed — is shown here. It has wonderful views, particularly from the living room and balcony from which one can see the waves breaking along the beach.
